ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Master of Science (Marine Sciences) Master of Social Science (Anthropology /Sociology) Master of Social Science (Economics) Master of Social Science (Political Science)

  Applicant must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with:

  (i) CGPA ≥ 3.00/4.00 or

  (ii) CGPA ≥ 2.75/4.00 and fulfilled at least one of the following:

  ·≥ 1 year research experience

  ·≥ 1 year of professional experience in the related field

  ·≥ 1 academic publication in the related field

  ·≥ Grade B for major/elective course

  ·≥ Grade B+ for final year project

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.)

  Applicant must hold at least:

  (A) Master’s degree (coursework/mix mode) in a related field with CGPA ≥ 3.00/4.00 or

  (B) Master’s degree (research mode) in a related field, or

  First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a CGPA > 3.67/4.00.

  Apart from the given English language requirement, the candidate will also be invited to attend an interview to further assess their eligibility and suitability for the applied programme. The potential supervisor and an independent lecturer (or an assistant registrar) will conduct the interview.
