HCU Students Gain Hands-On Skills in Chocolate Craft at Georgetown Heritage Chocolate (SDG 4 & 8)
August 25, 2025; As part of the USM–HCU Student Exchange Programme, participants from Hiroshima City University (HCU) visited the Georgetown Heritage Chocolate factory, Penang. The visit provided students with hands-on exposure to chocolate-making processes, allowing them to learn about production techniques, ingredients, and craftsmanship.Students also had the opportunity to experience chocolate-making firsthand, fostering practical skills, creativity, and appreciation for local culinary heritage. This activity enhanced cross-cultural learning and offered a unique experiential insight into Penang’s heritage industries.
