Hands-On Science Training for PERMAI Learning Centre Participants at CPR
4 August 2024 – The Centre for Policy Research (CPR), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), in collaboration with the Indonesian Community Organization in Penang (PERMAI), organized a Community Service and Science Workshop for children of the PERMAI Learning Centre, which included training on Ecoenzyme production, Food Fermentation, and Teacher Teaching Material Preparation, held at CPR, USM.
A total of 100 participants, comprising lecturers, teachers, students from Universitas Negeri Surabaya, and members of the Indonesian community in Penang, attended the workshop.
The objectives of the workshop were to:
- Provide community service and science training to stakeholders.
- Enhance knowledge in Science, Ecoenzyme, Food Fermentation, and Teacher Management.
- Conduct edutourism training.
The workshop was led by Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Reevany Bustami, Head of the Nusantara Malay Archipelago Research at CPR.
