"Drugs, Crime, Law Enforcement and the Connection to Drug Policy" Seminar
On 16th December 2024, the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), in collaborations with the Drug Policy Programme Malaysia, SK-PA2, and the Yayasan Pencegahan Jenayah Malaysia, has organized a seminar titled "Drugs, Crime, Law Enforcement and the Connection to Drug Policy". The seminar was presented by Mr. Neil Woods, an Independent Consultant specializing in law enforcement, crime, and drug policy.
The seminar aimed to explore the complex relationships between drugs, crime, law enforcement practices, and national drug policies. The event provided valuable insights from Mr. Woods, a renowned expert in the field, and served as a platform for discussion among participants from various sectors, including law enforcement agencies, government bodies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and individuals.
