Advancing Sustainable Practices: CPR Receives Positive Feedback from Green Audit

On 22 October 2025, the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) received a visit from the Green Office Sustainability Audit team, conducted by appointed auditors Puan Nazira Zainal Abidin (PPPJJ) and Puan Nurul Farhana Che Hassan (RCMO). The purpose of the visit was to assess the implementation of sustainability practices at CPR in line with the university’s aspiration towards a green campus and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The auditors reviewed various aspects including energy and waste management, 5R practices (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose), as well as cleanliness and workspace sustainability initiatives. CPR demonstrated continuous commitment through activities such as gotong-royong (collective clean-up), waste segregation for recycling, and the use of eco-friendly materials.
Overall, the audit visit proceeded smoothly, and CPR received positive feedback along with several minor recommendations to further strengthen sustainability practices at the centre.
