Fire Safety Drill Highlights CPR’s Commitment to a Safe Working Environment
9 October 2025

The Centre for Policy Research (CPR) has conducted a fire safety prevention and control exercise involving all CPR staff and students. The program aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of fire safety procedures and the necessary actions to be taken in the event of an emergency.
Through this exercise, participants were exposed to the proper use of fire extinguishers, safe building evacuation procedures, and workplace fire prevention measures.
The briefing session was conducted by Mr. Mohamad Abdul Rahim, who serves as the Health and Safety Committee Member at CPR.
The Centre for Policy Research extends its appreciation to all participants for their cooperation and commitment in ensuring the success of this program. This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, by promoting a safe, resilient, and health-conscious working and learning environment.
