SYSTEM DYNAMICS TRAINING FOR MINISTRY OF ECONOMICS MALAYSIA (1-2 OCT 2025; Marina Putrajaya)

A training on “Understanding System Dynamics Model: Tools for Effective Policy Making” was conducted on 1–2 October 2025 at Marina Putrajaya, with officers from the Ministry of Economy (ME).
The programme, led by Dr. Illisriyani Ismail (CPR-USM) and Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Fatimah Mohamed Arshad (UPM), focused on knowledge transfer of System Dynamics (SD) as a tool for policy analysis through both theoretical and practical sessions. SD helps policymakers analyse complex interdependencies and long-term impacts, thereby enhancing evidence-based decision-making. The initiative also contributes to Malaysia’s pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly #SDG8, #SDG12, and #SDG13.
