Recap Day-3 USM-HCU, Hiroshima 2023
Recap Day-3; It was a heartwrenching experience paying visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & having witnessed the agony & suffering endured by the A-bomb victims. “Berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu yang memikul”, is perfect idiom to demonstrate our exact feelings to have heard firsthandedly by the survivor who made living henceforth. It was indeed a monumental lifetime experience for us!
The Peace Studies Program scheduled for August 21st offers a comprehensive and deeply impactful educational experience centered around Hiroshima's profound history and the devastating effects of the atomic bomb. Participants will embark on a journey of reflection and understanding through visits to significant landmarks, including the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, where they will gain insight into the horrors of the bombing, and the Peace Memorial Park, a symbol of hope and reconciliation.
