Meeting with World Bank Group – Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security (MAFS) (9 June 2025; Putrajaya)

Dr. Illisriyani Ismail has been serving as an external consultant under Agriculture & Food – East Asia & Pacific Region - the World Bank Group for almost five years. On 9 June 2025, she joined the World Bank Group Country Manager, Ms. Judith Green, and the rest of colleagues, for a meeting with the YBhg. Datuk Seri Isham Bin Ishak, Secretary General’s Office, Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security (MAFS).

The discussion focused on advancing climate change resilience and integrating technology to strengthen Malaysia’s agriculture sector, in line with the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) agenda on modernisation. This engagement reflects the ongoing collaboration between the World Bank Group and national stakeholders to promote sustainable and inclusive growth in the agriculture sector.
