Kuliah Bersiri - Mazhab Nusantara : Bahasa dan Naskah Sejarah di Nusantara
The Centre for Policy Research (CPR), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) organised the 25th Lecture Series: Mazhab Nusantara, themed “Language and Historical Manuscripts in the Nusantara”, which was conducted online via Zoom. The programme aimed to provide an intellectual platform to explore the cultural roots of the Nusantara region through discussions on language, historical manuscripts, and cultural thought within a regional context.
The programme featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Reevany Bustami (Nusantara Malay Archipelago Research, CenPRIS – USM) as the Keynote Speaker, alongside two invited speakers, Dr. Abimardha Kurniawan, M.A. (Universitas Airlangga) and Dr. Azhar Ibrahim Alwee (National University of Singapore). The discussion session was moderated by Dr. Dwi Putri Melati, S.H., M.H. (Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa).
Through interdisciplinary and intergenerational academic presentations and dialogue, the programme successfully strengthened understanding of the intellectual and cultural heritage of the Nusantara, while fostering critical reflection on the role of language and historical manuscripts in shaping regional identity and modes of thought.
