Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship (Research Students) 2023

Two students from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) have successfully received full sponsorship under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship (Research Students) 2023.

This scholarship offer is made possible through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Hiroshima City University (HCU) and USM, facilitated by the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), which has been in effect since 2016.

The students awarded the scholarship are as follows:

1. Mohammad Nizar Mohamed Zukri
   School of Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree)
   School of Aerospace Engineering (Master’s Degree)
2. Mohd Shafiq bin Nasir
   School of Biological Sciences (Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees)

CPR is extremely proud of the achievements of the students involved and hopes to see greater participation from USM students in the future.
